Around 80 Afghan girls were hospitalised after being poisoned at their schools in northern Afghanistan, according to an official. Initial inquiries show that someone with a grudge paid a third party to carry out the attacks, the official said. It's believed to be the first time this kind of assault has happened since the Taliban took over Afghanistan in 2021.
