An extremely preterm baby weighing only 800 grams, born at 28 weeks, has survived severe complications after 7 weeks in the NICU at Medicover Hospital, Kharghar. Under the care of Dr Tanmesh, the baby battled respiratory distress, sepsis, anaemia and lung disease. The baby is breathing independently, feeding well, and showing healthy developmental progress.
