Amid a shortage of beds for treatment of COVID-19 cases, 85-year-old Narayanrao Dabhadkar from Maharashtra's Nagpur gave up his hospital bed for a younger patient. "I'm 85 now...have lived my life...you should offer the bed to the man instead, his children need him,” Dabhadkar reportedly told the hospital staff. Dabhadkar was taken back home, where he died three days later.
