The government expressed the Supreme Court its inability to block international porn-sites in India, while the court, in response, has asked it to find a solution. DoT had directed ISPs to block 39-websites on June-13. Though IT Act doesn't criminalize watching porn, the new rules notified in 2011 show the government wants to dictate what people watch on the web.
