Nine patients have lost their eyesight after developing infections following cataract surgeries at a private hospital in UP's Gorakhpur. The hospital had reportedly organised an eye camp where around 30 patients underwent cataract surgeries. A few days later, nine of them developed severe eye infections, eventually losing their eyesight. The hospital's ophthalmology department has been sealed.
