At least nine persons died after a car got washed away in the Dhela river in Uttarakhand's Ramnagar amid a heavy flow of water due to rains on Friday morning, Kumaon Range DIG Nilesh Bharne said. About five persons are trapped and one girl has been rescued alive, he added. Efforts are on to identify all the dead, Bharne stated.
