A total of nine eyewitnesses, including four journalists, appeared before the Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha on Friday to record their statements about the Bengaluru stampede. One of the eyewitness said, "There was a sudden rush to enter the stadium from Gate 21 as soon as it was opened." A total of 11 people had died during the stampede.
