At least nine people were killed after multiple vehicles plunged into the river when a massive portion of the Gambhira bridge, connecting Gujarat's Vadodara and Anand, collapsed. Vadodara Collector Anil Dhameliya said six people were also injured in the incident. The bridge, which is over the Mahisagar river, collapsed at around 7.30 am on Wednesday.
