90-yr-old with chronic kidney disease survives heart attack
A 90-year-old man with chronic kidney disease survived a heart attack after emergency angioplasty at KIMS Saveera Hospitals in Anantapur. Doctors restored blood flow and placed a stent using minimal contrast dye to protect his kidneys. With nephrology support and monitoring, his condition improved and he was discharged stable and was doing well at home.
