A ninety-one-year-old Argentine journalist Enrique Macaya Márquez is covering his 18th FIFA World Cup and was honoured after Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni embraced him and posed for photographs following a press conference. Márquez has reported from every World Cup since 1958. In 2022, FIFA and the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) recognised him for covering most World Cups.
