The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized 40 kilograms of 24-karat gold bullion worth ₹50.33 crore during raids in connection with an illegal online betting case linked to Congress MLA KC Veerendra. The ED had earlier seized assets worth ₹103 crore in the form of around 21 kg of gold bars, cash, gold and silver jewellery, among other things.
