9-day lockdown announced in Chhattisgarh's Durg from April 6

Amid rising COVID-19 cases, a nine-day-long lockdown has been announced in Chhattisgarh's Durg from April 6 to April 14. Durg district collector Sarveshwar Bhure said the vaccination drive will continue during the lockdown and essential services will be allowed in the district. Raipur with 66,999 cumulative cases and Durg with 40,068 cumulative cases are the state's two worst-affected districts.
