A brand new gecko discovered in Darjeeling

Cyrtodactylus nebulicola, a bent-toed gecko, has been discovered in the misty mountains of Darjeeling. A collaborative research from the Zoological Survey of India, Fakir Mohan University, and the Human and Environment Alliance League identified it clinging to rock crevices and house walls in Latpanchar village. This tiny reptile was identified through physical traits and genetic testing.
