Gaddi dog, native to the Himalayas, is a strong, intelligent, and protective breed used by shepherds. Recently recognised by ICAR-NBAGR, commonly known as the Himalayan Sheepdog or Indian Panther Hound, this breed has not only helped herders manage livestock in tough mountain conditions but also stood strong against predators like snow leopards.
