Talking about Sachin Tendulkar being asked by ex-India captain Mohammed Azharuddin to play as an opener in 1994, former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif said, "Tendulkar...didn't look back ever since and he didn't stop." "A lot of credit must go to Azharuddin. He deserves credit for making four-five great Indian players...[like] Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman," he added.
