A remote lake in Ladakh is growing life due to global warming

Research at 4900 metres, on a remote lake in Ladakh, reveals the effects of global warming. By analyzing 40 sediment samples from Tsoltak Lake, scientists found that longer summers are fuelling algae growth. It indicates that a warming climate is allowing a more diverse range of life to exist in what was once a freezing, desert-like environment.
