A day after she disowned her family and quit politics, Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya claimed she was humiliated, "filthy" abuses were hurled and a slipper was raised to hit her. "A daughter, out of compulsion, left behind her crying parents and sisters," she added. She alleged this happened because she didn't compromise on truth and her self-respect.
