Pakistan have appointed five different captains across formats since the 2023 ODI World Cup. Shaheen Afridi is the latest, replacing Mohammad Rizwan as ODI skipper after being sacked as T20I captain in March last year following one series. Shan Masood, the Test captain, is the only one to have retained his position during this period of frequent changes.
