Recent death of Ritam Mondal, a 21-year-old fourth-year mechanical engineering student marks the fourth unnatural student death on campus within a year. Earlier cases include Shaon Malik (January), Aniket Walkar (April), and Mohammad Asif Qamar (May). In June of last year, Devika Pillai, a biotechnology student, also died by suicide, raising growing concern over student's mental health.
