A woman killed fiancé over wig: Meghalaya govt while opposing Sonam Raghuvanshi's bail

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, while representing Meghalaya government, argued during hearing of Sonam Raghuvanshi's bail that "these instances have increased". Referring to alleged murder of Ketan Agarwal, he said, "Recently, a woman killed her husband (fiancée) because he was wearing a wig." Supreme Court refused to cancel bail granted to Sonam, accused of killing her husband during honeymoon.
