Italian businessman, Ottavio Quattrocchi(74), the main accused in the Bofors scam, died in Milan after a heart-attack Friday. In March-1986, a $285-million arms-deal was signed between then Rajiv Gandhi-led government and Swedish company Bofors; and a scandal was reported. CBI closed its investigation in 2011 and all charges against Quattrocchi were withdrawn. No one was ever convicted in the case.
