The Election Commission of India (ECI) has decided that linking voter ID with Aadhaar card will be done as per Article 326 of the Constitution and sections of the Representation of the People Act, 1950. The process will also follow relevant Supreme Court judgements. Technical consultations between UIDAI and ECI experts will begin soon, the poll body stated.
