AAP alleges ₹22,000-crore rice scam in Delhi
AAP's Delhi chief Saurabh Bharadwaj alleged a planned ₹22,000-crore rice scam under which subsidised rice meant for the poor in Delhi was routed through an Assam-based corporation to a private company in Haryana for heavy profit. He said Delhi government's food supplies department asked Food Corporation of India (FCI) to supply 31,000 metric tonnes of heavily subsidised rice per week.
