Aam Aadmi Party has approached Delhi High Court seeking de-registration of newly formed 'Aapki Apni Party (Peoples)' on the grounds that the abbreviation of both the parties would be 'AAP' and it would confuse the voters. The court has sought the Election Commission's response on the plea as the EC earlier rejected AAP's objection against registration of the new party.
