Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won three of four constituencies in the Punjab Assembly by-polls, while the Congress party won one seat. AAP candidates Gurdeep Singh Randhawa won from the Dera Baba Nanak seat, Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon won from Gidderbaha and Dr Ishank Kumar won from the Chabbewal seat. Meanwhile, Congress candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhillon won from Barnala.
