AAP's Shelly Oberoi has been elected as the new Mayor of Municipal Corporation of Delhi, days after the Supreme Court ordered that nominated members will not be allowed to vote. Oberoi won against BJP's Rekha Gupta by 34 votes. Oberoi had won the MCD elections from ward number 86 with AAP winning 134 of 250 wards.
