Shooter Abhinav Bindra is the youngest recipient of the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, India's highest sporting honor. The Olympic gold medalist was conferred the award in 2001 at the age of 18. The shooter, who was born on September 28, 1982, has also been awarded the Arjuna award and the Padma Bhushan by the Indian government.
