Expelled TMC MLA Ritabrata Banerjee on Wednesday criticised TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, saying the legislative party belongs to the MLAs and that Abhishek Banerjee has no role in the party or public support. "He was beaten just as thieves are beaten," he said. Notably, Ritabrata Banerjee became the Leader of Opposition in West Bengal with the support of 58 MLAs.
