Ex-Tamil Nadu minister and AIADMK leader Rajenthra Bhalaji, who was absconding in two job-related cheating cases, was arrested on Wednesday. As per reports, Bhalaji collected around ₹3 crore from people by promising them jobs in the state-run dairy corporation Aavin. He has been absconding since Madras High Court dismissed his anticipatory bail petitions in both the cases on December 17.
