Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut slammed the rebel MPs reportedly in touch with Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, saying abuses alone aren't enough for them, they deserved to be kicked. He added that these members were "lying in the garbage, we picked them up from there and made them MPs". He added that rebel MPs sold themselves for ₹40–50 crore.
