Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys lag behind Accenture and IBM in artificial intelligence (AI) projects, according to Information Services Group. As of June 2024, Accenture led with 2,250 AI projects, while TCS and Infosys had 300 and 200, respectively. Analysts attribute the gap to aggressive positioning and consulting-led strategies by foreign firms.
