IT consultant Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Ookla, a customer experience analytics company. Under the deal, which is reportedly for $1.2 billion, Accenture will integrate Ookla’s data products, including Speedtest, Downdetector, Ekahau, and RootMetrics, into its own offerings. Ookla, whose products see 250 million consumer-initiated tests per month, has a headcount of 430.
