ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has commissioned 142.67 MW / 481.49 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Rajasthan, the first phase of its planned 585 MW / 2011.24 MWh. Connected to ISTS, the BESS will operate on merchant basis, enhance grid reliability, balance peak and non-peak demand, optimise power use, and later integrate with FDRE projects under 25-year PPAs.
