Household appliances like ACs, kitchen appliances, bath fittings and cookware may get 5-8% costlier as the prices of base metals jumped to record highs, TOI reported. This comes as copper, aluminium, and nickel prices crossed various records due to stable demand and faltering supply. Several firms have already hiked prices and warned that further increases may be unavoidable.
