Activist Amit Bhatnagar on Thursday ended his hunger strike against the Ken-Betwa river linking project after 18 days. Bhatnagar, in a statement, said that the strike was on hold since authorities had agreed to visit villages affected by the project and identify those who had not been compensated. Bhatnagar's brother said their mother had persuaded him to break his fast.
