Activist arrested over post on Kunal Kamra's show's cancellation, Karnataka HC slams police

The Karnataka High Court has slammed the Whitefield Police in Bengaluru for arresting an activist, Mohan Gowda, over a Facebook post celebrating the cancellation of Kunal Kamra's show. The police had taken suo motu cognisance and travelled to Udupi at 2 am to arrest him. "The police constable gets concerned about the imaginary disharmony overnight," the court remarked.
