Adam Turck, a 35-year-old actor from Richmond, Virginia, was shot dead while trying to help a domestic abuse victim at a traffic stop. He was identified as the victim in a statement from his friends and family. "We were told that if Adam hadn't been there...the person he intervened to help wouldn't be with us today," the statement read.
