Malayalam actor Antony Varghese recalled that his Kochi-bound IndiGo flight tried landing twice and pulled up at last second due to extreme weather. Calling it "straight out of a movie", Antony said, "The pilot made a split-second decision...[and] lifted the aircraft back...She diverted flight to Coimbatore for refuelling." He added the all-female crew handled situation in an inspiring way.
