Veteran Bollywood actor and film producer Shashi Kapoor turned 78 on Friday. While he made appearances in films as a child artist, he debuted as a lead actor in 'Dharmputra' (1961). He married British actress Jennifer Kendal who passed away in 1984. He is a recipient of the Padma Bhushan (2011) and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award (2014).
