Actor-turned-politician Kushboo Sundar resigned from the Congress on Monday and joined BJP hours later in Delhi. She joined BJP in the presence of senior party leaders at BJP headquarters in the national capital. In her resignation letter to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Sundar wrote that she feels "suppressed" by "a few elements seated at higher levels within the party".
