Adani Group and Israel's Tower Semiconductor will jointly set up a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Maharashtra's Panvel, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced. The nearly ₹84,000-crore plant will be built in two phases and will generate 5,000 jobs. It'll produce 40,000 wafers per month in the ₹58,763-crore phase one and 80,000 wafers per month in the ₹25,184-crore phase two.
