Adani Ports will acquire 100% stake in Jaypee Fertilizers for Rs 1,500 crore in a cash deal under the NCLT-approved resolution plan for JAL. This gives APSEZ indirect control over Kanpur Fertilizers and Chemicals, which owns around 243 acres of land in Kanpur. The land will be developed into a logistics park and warehousing hub to strengthen APSEZ's inland logistics network.
