Adani Power has secured a 1,600 MW thermal power project from Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, requiring capital investment of ₹21,000 crore in what represents one of India's largest recent thermal generation awards. The contract strengthens the Adani group position in conventional power generation despite accelerating renewable energy adoption across the country.
