The Adani Group's Mundra Thermal Power Plant in Gujarat has more than $1 billion in debt, as per a report by Bloomberg. The report said the plant has run up $1.8 billion of losses and the conglomerate has deployed the debt-financing to "paper over" the deficit. This comes as Hindenburg Research flagged concerns about the group's high debt in January.
