On 29 May 2025, the president of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Mr. Masato Kanda, visited India's first Namo Bharat corridor. He was hosted by Mr. Shalabh Goel, MD of the NCRTC. He witnessed the speed, comfort, and other features of the Namo Bharat train from Sahibabad to Duhai Depot Station. ADB is the lead multilateral funding partner for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor.
