After Godrej family announced it is splitting the 127-year-old conglomerate into two groups, the Adi and Nadir Godrej-led faction announced an open offer to acquire up to 50.99 lakh equity shares or 26% stake in Astec Lifesciences. The open offer, worth a total of around ₹545 crore, is part of the requirements for the family settlement.
