Ahead of the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, senior vice-president of Aditya Birla Group Ranjan Banerjee joined the BJP in Kolkata on Wednesday. He said, "The whole environment of West Bengal needs to be changed so that industries itself come here. I want to see West Bengal as the number one state, will do whatever it takes."
