Former HDFC Bank CEO Aditya Puri has joined The Carlyle Group as a senior advisor after announcing his retirement from the bank on October 26. Puri, who was the chief at HDFC Bank for 26 years, will now advise Carlyle on investments across Asia. "Carlyle's focus on building better businesses is something I have a great affinity for," said Puri.
