Adobe has reversed its plans to shut down 2D animation software Adobe Animate following backlash from customers. Moving it to maintenance mode, Adobe clarified that Animate will continue to remain available for both current and new customers. Adobe assured continued support for the application, including security and bug fixes but will no longer add new features.
