Adobe's $20-billion takeover deal with design software firm Figma, which is Adobe's largest-ever deal, faces a merger review by European Union (EU) officials. The European Commission said it has set a provisional deadline of August 7 to decide whether to open an in-depth probe into the acquisition or to clear it. "We remain confident in merits of case," Adobe said.
